Galerie Celebrates the 2025 Creative Minds at Armani / Ristorante
The seventh annual list honors 25 visionary talents from the worlds of art, interior design, architecture, fashion, jewelry, photography, cuisine, and more

The newly opened Armani flagship building on Madison Avenue was buzzing with revelers on the evening of Tuesday, May 6, in honor of Galerie Magazine’s 2025 Creative Minds. Now in its seventh year, the signature list spotlights a hand-picked group of talents across the fields of art, design, fashion, jewelry, architecture, and more. To celebrate this year’s honorees, Galerie founder and editorial director Lisa Fayne Cohen and editor in chief Jacqueline Terrebonne hosted an exclusive dinner at Armani/Ristorante that convened honorees, tastemakers, cultural leaders, and Galerie editors for an evening of fabulous food and inspiring conversation.
Many honorees were in attendance, including pastry chef Eunji Lee, florist Ariel Dearie, lighting designers Felicia Hung and Nick Ozemba of In Common With, Kevin Wiesner and Lukas Bentel of art collective MSCHF, artist and designer Misha Kahn, and landscape architect Sara Zewde.
“There are many lists in the world, but what makes our Galerie Creative Minds so special is that it’s the only one that purely celebrates creativity,” Cohen says. “Seven years ago, I came up with an idea to curate a list of truly exceptional individuals whose work embodies that focus. These incredible visionaries reflect everything Galerie stands for and demonstrate the many fields that can be elevated to the level of art through creativity and passion.”
This year’s honorees span both internationally acclaimed figures and exciting emerging voices. For instance, renowned Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, who is celebrating 40 years in the field, is being recognized alongside Brooklyn- and Portland-based multidisciplinary artist Alex Proba and Mexican designer Daniel Valero of Mestiz, who are among a new generation of creatives making their mark.
“What makes this list so special is how it captures the creative spirit across every medium and stage of career,” said Jacqueline Terrebonne, editor in chief of Galerie. “We’re constantly inspired by these talents—their bold ideas, their authenticity, and their ability to create rare beauty in ways we haven’t seen before.”
Previous honorees also attended to toast the 2025 class. They included interior designers Ryan Korban and Christine and John Gachot of Gachot Studios; furniture designers Ciarán McGuigan and Jordan Trinci-Lyne of Orior; gallerist Destinee Ross-Sutton; jewelry designer Silvia Furmanovich; architect Elizabeth Roberts; chef Rōze Traore; and ceramic artist Peter Lane.
The tone of the evening was set by the glamorous environment of the newly opened Armani flagship building, which includes retail, residences, and the sumptuous new restaurant awash in moody tones with green and gold lacquered accents. As signature Armani/Casa lamps illuminated tables outfitted with lavish Armani flatware, guests dined on a decadent menu of Italian cuisine curated by executive chef Daniele Castellano featuring potatoes, truffle, and seasonal leaves; dover sole with lemon and Swiss chard; beef with carrots and green peppercorn; and meringue with whipped cream, mascarpone cream, and seasonal berries.
As the night ended, the honorees posed with their treasured glass trophies before parading out onto Madison Avenue with this beautiful way to remember both the honor and this very special evening.
