The estate is being sold by J. Gary Shansby, cofounder and former chairman of private-equity firm TSG Consumer Partners and founder of Tequila Partida, and his wife, O.J., who built the house six years ago. The Shansbys previously set a local real estate record in 2010, when their Sonoma compound sold for nearly $30 million. Of the decision to list the property, the 81-year-old Shansby told The Wall Street Journal that he and his wife are looking to simplify their lives.
The estate is listed with Ginger Martin of Sotheby’s International Realty and Cyd Greer of Coldwell Banker.
