Monterey Car Week’s Flashiest Concept and Supercar Debuts 

This weekend, thousands of car obsessives are descending on the picturesque Monterey Peninsula for Monterey Car Week, an annual swirl of concours, races, auctions, private gatherings, and new-model reveals that draws the industry’s biggest names—and some of its deepest pockets. (The U.S. Open, which returns to Pebble Beach Golf Links next year, may be one of the few occasions capable of giving it a run for its money.)

The week culminates with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, one of the most prestigious collector-car competitions, but The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca add their own doses of glamour and horsepower. For Bugatti, Lamborghini, Cadillac, McLaren, and other marques, the week has also become a favored stage for unveiling hypercars, concepts, and ultra-limited models. Below, we round up the splashiest debuts.  

1. Aston Martin DB12 S Tribute 

Aston Martin is celebrating Pebble Beach’s racing heritage with three DB12 S Coupes created by its bespoke Q division and inspired by the marque’s 1951 competition cars. Dark paintwork and vivid red, blue, and yellow accents recall the originals, while embroidered seatbacks and anniversary details carry the tribute into the cabin for the Concours d’Elegance’s 75th year.  

2. Mercedes-Maybach S680 by LeBron James 

LeBron James has turned his personal Mercedes-Maybach S 680 into a collector’s twin through MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure. Light ivory paint wraps a cabin upholstered in lavish “Stormy Weather” Nappa leather with porcelain stitching, while his emblem replaces the V12 badge and  references to his hometown of Akron, Ohio, lend a personal touch. Following its appearance at Pebble Beach, the vehicle will be auctioned to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation.  

3. Bentley Continental Supersports 

Bentley’s new Continental Supersports arrives at Spazione Remota, an invite-only Carmel Valley gathering created with Tutto Bene, Race Service, and design studio BorromeodeSilva. Billed as the driver-focused pinnacle of the Continental range, the handsome coupe wears a dramatic Dragon livery that sweeps from Black Crystal to vivid Dragon Red II across its body. 

4. Cadillac V-ONE 

Cadillac has translated its endurance-racing pedigree into the V-ONE, a single-seat concept developed with Cadillac Racing and chassis constructor Dallara. Its dramatic proportions derive from the V-Series.R racer, but they’re softened by a hand-sprayed gradient from silver to deep navy that evokes day turning to night during an endurance race. Inside, exposed carbon and recycled fabrics accompany a bespoke seat tailored to its driver, along with a personalized steering wheel and custom interface. Cadillac is framing the V-ONE as a glimpse at how its V-Series performance cars could evolve for future customers.  

5. Bugatti Destrier 

Bugatti recasts the track-focused Bolide as the one-of-one Destrier, the third creation from its Programme Solitaire, its ultra-exclusive commissioning program for one-of-one cars. Standing just one meter tall, the vehicle trades aggressive aerodynamic appendages for sweeping bodywork and a broader horseshoe grille. Sapphire Celeste paint glitters with diamond-like flecks against polished aluminum. Inside, the cabin pairs warm Ambre Voyageur leather with nubuck and a seamless knitted textile threaded with copper yarns.  

6. McLaren McL 6GT  

Bruce McLaren’s unrealized M6GT supercar dream roars into the present with the McL 6GT, a carbon-fiber concept that reminisces on the marque’s earliest road-car ambitions and whose low, wide proportions borrow from 1960s racers. It notably features McLaren’s first manual transmission since the legendary F1 supercar of the 1990s. Stylish cabin details and heritage cues round out the concept, which previews an exclusive production model due in 2028.   

7. Vision BMW Alpina 

BMW Alpina is charting its next era with a sleek grand touring concept that translates the German marque’s blend of speed, comfort, and refinement into something more modern. A sweeping coupé roofline and shark nose provide a low, elegant stance. The cabin, meanwhile, boasts full-grain leather, gleaming metal surfaces, and crystal controls. The study makes its North American premiere at The Quail before heading to Pebble Beach’s Concept Lawn. 

8. Audi Nuvolari 

Audi’s fastest and most powerful production car yet, the Nuvolari channels Formula 1 thinking into a low-slung supercar limited to 499 examples. Mid-engine proportions give the vehicle a low, planted stance, with taut bodywork finished in titanium paint and punctuated by carbon-fiber elements that intensify its futuristic character. Active aerodynamics and a hybrid powertrain allow it to exceed 217 miles per hour. The German automaker is positioning the model as a technological flagship for its next era, with deliveries beginning in 2027. 

9. Lamborghini Revuelto Miura 60° Homage 

Lamborghini is marking six decades of the groundbreaking Miura with 99 specially appointed Revueltos conceived by the Italian luxury automaker’s Ad Personam program and Centro Stile. Heritage-inspired colors transform the angular hybrid supercar into a vivid salute to its 1966 predecessor. Gold-toned wheels, meanwhile, amplify its sense of retro glamour. Miura references continue inside through ribbed upholstery in Lamborghini’s distinctive “cannelloni” pattern with an individually numbered plaque identifying each limited-edition example.  

10. Acura Nexera Vision 

Acura has unveiled its next chapter with the Nexera Vision, a low-slung coupe conceived at the brand’s California studio under Yasutake Tsuchida. Butterfly doors and ultra-thin headlights inspired by Acura’s A-shape emblem lend the car a futuristic edge—as do sculpted surfaces coated in matte titanium paint. Inside, sustainable materials mix with gloss-black finishes and high-contrast pink accents, while floor-mounted seats secure a lower driving position.
