Ken Fulk Curates a Collection of Whimsical Pieces for an Exuberant Spring Table
A savant at conceiving stunningly beautiful restaurants, hotels, and residential interiors, the designer details the elements he would select for an equally glamorous tablescape

The spaces that San Francisco designer Ken Fulk conjures are sweeping in their exuberant execution and meticulous in their fantastical detail. A Galerie Creative Mind, Fulk has orchestrated magical interiors for unforgettable destinations such as ZZ’s Club in New York and Miami or a schloss in Austria, as well as hotels from coast to coast.
Of course, when it comes to entertaining, the designer has an equally discerning eye, selecting whimsical elements that add panache to the table. From boisterous arrangements of lush blooms to playful, unexpected objets and elegant tapers in sherbet shades, Fulk’s place settings are as theatrical as his interiors, and as dapper as the designer himself.
Here, Fulk selects unique and special pieces for a personality-filled spring luncheon with just the right hint of Southern hospitality.

“I mark every and any occasion with flowers. We have a talented team of folks to make them in what we affectionately call Mr. Fulk’s Flower Factory. They are the most exuberant arrangements I’ve seen, having steadily evolved from my directive 20 years ago: ‘Let’s do one enormous bouquet that feels perfectly imperfect like it’s been dragged in from the garden.’”
