The New York–based designer crafted a serene monochromatic space sheathed in gorgeous scenic wallpaper by Fromental and anchored by a Native Trails tub

“Originally this space was very chopped up,” says designer Josh Greene, who crafted the serene primary bath and dressing room at the Galerie House of Art and Design. “What I wanted to do was create a lot of symmetry.” It all started with the geometric floor tile he acquired from Complete Tile whose hypnotic blacks and grays reminded him of an overcast day at the beach. From there, the designer expertly captured the mood by wrapping the room in a dreamy scenic wallpaper by Fromental. A bold tub by Native Trails, vanities by Florense, and hardware by Sherle Wagner and Hoffman Hardware add to the monochromatic allure. To create contrast, Greene teamed up with Perrotin to utilize colorful works of art, including pieces by Pieter Vermeersch, Gabriel de la Mora, and Paola Pivi.

Watch below as Greene shares his inspiration for the space.
