Taylor Swift’s Former West Village Carriage House Sells for $11.5 Million
The pop star once rented the 5,500-square-foot residence for $39,500 a month
A West Village home once occupied by Taylor Swift has sold for $11.5 million.
Situated between Bleecker Street and West 4th Street, the unique property was built as a carriage house in 1912. It’s been spectacularly renovated and transformed into a spacious, modern townhouse with four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
The pop star rented the house for a whopping $39,500 a month while her nearby property on Franklin Street was being renovated.

The house features dramatic double height ceilings, three original fireplaces, a roof deck, indoor pool, and several Murano glass chandeliers. The dining room walls have antique bricks from Paris, a Murano chandler, and Lalique light fixtures, while the kitchen boasts a Wolf electronic oven and gas stove, Subzero fridge and a wine fridge, a Fisher & Paykal double drawer dishwasher and granite counter tops.
The property was listed with Deborah Grubman, Laurence Carty, Markus Buchmeier for the Corcoran Group.
