One of the oldest and most beloved estates on Bermuda, Windsong House dates to the 1720s, when it was built by a prominent shipwright on a private peninsula in scenic Riddell’s Bay. Expanded over time to roughly 7,200 square feet, the seven-bedroom residence was recently refurbished by its current owner, who purchased it in 2014. Since then, the kitchen and mechanical systems have been updated, while the home’s period elements (such as the stepped roof and exposed cedar beams) were graciously preserved. In addition to a pool, walled garden, and jetty, the two-acre property features a charming one-bedroom guest cottage, built in 1999, that received an architecture award.
