On Wednesday evening, artists, designers, and fashionable figures gathered at Philip Johnson’s iconic Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut, for an intimate dinner celebrating the launch of Loewe’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, which was designed in collaboration with the Albers Foundation. The celebration’s location held special meaning for the brand, as Johnson was a friend and longtime supporter of the Alberses.

Guests including Galerie Creative Minds Misha Kahn and Rōze Traore, Danny Kaplan, Courtney Willis Blair, Xavier Donnelly, Victoria Rogers, and others mingled on the grounds and took in the collection, set amongst various works in the Painting Gallery. Others visited the Sculpture Gallery to peruse works by Barbara Kasten up close as the sun set over the Glass House.

Under the nearby tent, guests were seated at a long table decorated with Loewe candlesticks in hurricanes set amongst calla lilies, and dined on a special dinner curated by Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson of Frenchette, Le Rock and Le Veau D’Or while reflecting on the bold weavings and color blocks that informed this season’s collection.

Former creative director Jonathan Anderson had previously described the collection’s presentation at Paris Fashion Week as a “scrapbook of ideas.” The collection includes colorful tributes to Josef’s “Homage to the Square” series and Anni’s weavings, with both playing a key role in dynamic overcoats, embroidered bags, signature clutches, and more. The collection is available to shop on Mytheresa.
