Sitting atop 20 acres of land, artist Georgia O’Keeffe‘s former home in Santa Fe, New Mexico has been listed for $15 million. The adobe residence not only served as the final home of the acclaimed artist until her death in 1986, but it was a source of inspiration for her renowned paintings of landscapes and florals. In 2000, the residence was acquired by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, whose estate still owns the property. (The tech titan died in 2018, and an auction of his blockbuster art collection fetched $1.6 billion.)

Dubbed “Sol Y Sombra,” the compound features a main house with six bedrooms—included in the 21 overall—a library, a game room, spacious living and dining areas, and even a solarium. The upstairs can be accessed either by the stairs or elevator. Through a covered walkway, guests will find the cinema area which comes with its own kitchen, bedrooms, and intimate viewing area. Beamed ceilings, kiva fireplaces, brick and hardwood flooring flow throughout the entire property.

In addition to typical home features, the space also holds its own conference center and event center, which offers panoramic views alongside the ideal area to get work done. Outside, a pair of guest houses allow for entertaining as many out of town visitors as you want, while a wisteria-covered grill area provides casual entertaining space and Grand Portal provides a large fireplace and views of the Aspen grove and rose garden.

In homage of O’Keeffe’s fascination with florals and landscapes, an entire greenhouse filled with impressive plants and botanicals lies on the expansive property. To make the area even more impressive, the greenhouse’s Bodhi tree gifted by the Dalai Lama himself during a visit to the estate, is said to have grown from a seed of the tree the Buddha sat beneath to attain enlightenment.
