For the Fendi fall/winter 2024 collection, Kim Jones, the house’s artistic director, pulled from a range of global influences, including Roman statues.
Classical sculptures such as Cloaked Female Statue and Colossal Head of a Goddess, both from the Galleria Borghese, were rendered on gauzy silk dresses, sheer skirts, and the maison’s signature baguette bag—providing a thought-provoking study in contrasts between the stiff marble figures and the breezy silhouettes.
