Christofle Debuts Malmaison Riviera, a Porcelain Collection in Sunny Yellow
The lemon hue marks the first time the legacy brand has used color on porcelain in its nearly 200-year history
Among the gleaming silver pieces and creamy porcelain tableware at Christofle, a cheery new array stands out not only for its graphic pattern but also its lemon hue—the first time the legacy brand has used color on porcelain in its nearly 200-year history.
Although Christofle’s long-standing Malmaison design, named for the cherished French home of Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife Joséphine, depicts the traditional Empire pattern of rosettes and palmettes, the Malmaison Riviera rendition in vibrant yellow enlivens the customary motif, painted across plates, cups, a cake stand, and more—all perfect for alfresco entertaining.
