Gary Friedman Unveils RH Estates, The Gallery on Greenwich Avenue
The newest location was celebrated with an elegant evening attended by Martha Stewart, Reed Krakoff, Athena Calderone, and others
On Wednesday evening, tastemakers, designers, and industry insiders gathered with RH Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman in Connecticut to celebrate the unveiling of RH Estates, The Gallery on Greenwich Avenue. The opening marks the first North American location for RH Estates, with a second planned for 2027 in Los Angeles.
The Greenwich location unfolds as visitors enter through scrolled iron and glass doors into the Great Room, where artistic installations and bespoke finishings, including hand-carved trim, create an instantly immersive environment. A wrought-iron and gold leaf staircase leads to a second floor, where limestone floors and the works of legendary designers, including Michael Taylor, add to the RH experience.
Guests, including Martha Stewart, Reed and Delphine Krakoff, Athena Claderone, Paige Paul, Michael and Elizabeth Chu, and others, mingled through each room while enjoying a live performance by Miramar and sipping on cocktails from a Vesper Martini Bar by Dukes London and a Bianco Spritz Bar by Sant Ambroeus, as well as Ruinart Champagne and Rumor Côtes de Provence Rosé. Gourmet bites were provided by Onthemarc in addition to Petrossian Caviar. As the evening unfolded, guests were invited to dine at Cucina Angelina, the Italian restaurant named in tribute to Friedman’s mother.
The opening marks the first freestanding Gallery for RH, which was first previewed at RH Milan during Salone del Mobile and introduced with the opening of RH London.
