Aman New York Sells Final Penthouse Unit for $66 Million
The sale marks the last developer residence within the sold-out property
An Aman New York penthouse unit inside the historic Crown Building recently sold for $66 million, marking the last developer residence within the sold-out property. The sale also marked a record-breaking price for the firm at $11,444 per square foot. Penthouse 25, with four bedrooms and an additional 500 square feet of terrace space, is one of 22 private residences on the building’s upper floors and is serviced by a private lobby.
In addition to services and conveniences offered by the hotel, residents enjoy access to the Aman Club Membership, the spa, outdoor dining, an entertainment space, a Jazz Club and the private Aman Club.
“As evidenced by Aman New York’s string of top-market 2024 sales, including the $135 million sale of the building’s Penthouse along with the resale of Penthouse 23, which closed earlier this year at $64 million for over $10,000 pre-square foot, Aman Property continues to surpass market records globally, demonstrating its ability to drive the highest market premiums in ultra-luxury real estate,” says Vanessa Grout, Global Head of Residences for Aman and Head of Aman Property.
July’s $135 million sale of the five-floor penthouse marked the highest for the city in 2024.
