Karl Lagerfeld’s Former Paris Office Is Now Available for Overnight Bookings
The futuristic space in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés has been reimagined as a multi-level residence
What was once Karl Lagerfeld’s private office in Paris can now be booked for those seeking a high-fashion escape. The futuristic space located in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés is now part of the Highstay Collection and has been reimagined as a multi-level residence, but maintains the fashion icon’s sophisticated vision.
Lagerfeld, who created countless collections at the storied location for Chanel and Fendi, had installed soaring mirrored ceilings and twin steel libraries in the three-story space, which also includes a private hammam and sauna. Guests interested in booking Saint-Germain I can also opt for a bespoke “Karl Itinerary,” which traces the prolific designer’s favorite Left Bank addresses, including Café de Flore and Maison du Caviar.
Lagerfeld had a prolific real estate portfolio, buying and selling over ten homes in his lifetime. Following his 2019 death, Karl Lagerfeld: A Life in Houses (Thames & Hudson), traced the many beautiful interiors that revealed his extraordinary taste and design.
