Katie Monkhouse Interiors was tasked with orchestrating the garden apartment, which features an elegant kitchen defined by its large-scale island surmounted by a custom chandelier by Brightbound; the marble backsplash is complemented with tiles hand-painted by Katherine Verdickt in a botanical motif.

Designer Jon de la Cruz enveloped his “Rock, Paper, Scissors” entryway in a handcrafted wall covering made in Nepal using bark then added antique Italian spheres and capitals, a pair of console tables from Sylvan S.F., and artworks by Diana Al-Hadid, William Kentridge, Anselm Kiefer, Carrie Mae Weems, Cindy Sherman, and more.

Breaking the mold of the traditional library, Kathleen Navarra of Navarra Design outfitted much of the space in a visually arresting Fromental wallpaper, then installed a striking hair-on-hide rug from Kyle Bunting, Olivia Cognet ceramic stool from The Future Perfect, and a pilular Blue Roma Quartzite stone tabletop that rests on a sturdy asymmetrical wood base from Randolph & Hein.

Kendra Nash of Nash Design Group orchestrated the “Global Nest” bedroom suite at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, drawing on her travels through Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico. Here, she selected a rich earthy plaster from Sherwin Williams for the walls, then adding lighting and art that nods to the moon, including Hennepin Made lamps and works from Dolby Chadwick Gallery.

For her “Moroccan Mirage” dining room, designer Julie Rootes covered a custom bench in a Pierre Frey then drew on a range of sumptuous textiles by Sandra Jordan, Sean Leffers, and Robert Kime. A Jiun Ho dining table, Jonathan Browning sconces from De Sousa Hughes, and a Paul Ferrante chandelier add to the magical effect.

Maximizing the intimate outdoor area, Katharine Webster installed flagstone paving and Creme de Provence limestone that surrounds the circular stair that culminates in a secluded seating area formed using a bespoke table of reclaimed stone surrounded by ceramic stools and a plethora of succulents.
