The most expensive condo in Brooklyn is on the market, for $19.5 million. The full-floor abode, known as Penthouse B, is located within Olympia DUMBO. This particular building is the tallest new development in DUMBO, and it also boasts the greatest number of amenities for a residential building in Brooklyn.
Penthouse B consists of five bedrooms, four and a half baths, a private 552-square-foot terrace, and a total of 4,928 square feet, spanning the entire 32nd floor of the building. The residence was designed by Interior Marketing Group, with the intention of creating cohesion between various design elements: scale, texture, form, and tone.
Other features of the home include a formal foyer and gallery, living and dining areas drenched in natural sunlight, and sweeping views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and New York Harbor. The kitchen boasts an island with an inlaid Fior di Bosco stone slab and chamfered edges. Gaggenau appliances and raked maple cabinetry complete with satin nickel hardware can also be found in the kitchen.
Penthouse B’s primary suite, which faces the Manhattan Bridge, has double walk-in closets, a bathroom with seven light fixtures, a freestanding soaking tub, dual showers, a dressing area, and a linen closet.
“With breathtaking panoramic views that stretch from harbor to skyline, meticulously curated design, and unparalleled privacy, this penthouse redefines what it means to live in Brooklyn,” says John Gomes of the Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman. “Perched at the pinnacle of DUMBO at the highest point in the neighborhood, with exclusive access to the most exciting amenities in a luxury residential building, it’s not just a home—it’s a lifestyle, and it’s simply the best in the borough.”
Hill West is responsible for Olympia DUMBO’s architecture, while Brooklyn-based interior and architecture firm Workstead is responsible for the building’s interiors and amenities. The 33-story condominium tower has sold over 50 percent of its 76 residences, and it was developed by Fortis Property Group, which is also Brooklyn-based. Residences at Olympia Dumbo feature anywhere from one to five bedrooms, with prices starting at about $1.75 million.
Amenities include more than 38,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, spread across three floors. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, a private outdoor tennis court overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge, a fitness center, a movement studio, a spin studio, a juice bar, a sauna, and a steam room. For children, there is a water park, private park, playroom, and an outdoor shipwreck-themed playground.
Notable residents of Olympia DUMBO include musician Joe Jonas and Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons. The condominium tower is represented by Jessica Peters and Carl A. Ekroth of The Jessica Peters Team at Douglas Elliman, Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman, and Karen Heyman and Casey Heyman of The Heyman Team at Sotheby’s International Realty.
