Ben Affleck Lists Plush California Mansion for $30 Million
Newly married to Jennifer Lopez, the Oscar-winning actor is parting with his 13,500-square-foot Pacific Palisades home, which he bought in 2018
Just weeks after marrying Jennifer Lopez in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony, Oscar-winning actor Ben Affleck has listed his lavish Pacific Palisades home for just under $30 million. The Gone Girl star scooped up the 13,500-square-foot manse in 2018 for a reported $19.3 million following his divorce from actress Jennifer Garner. Lopez and Affleck—who were first engaged from 2002 to ’04—are currently renting Australian billionaire James Packer’s palatial Beverly Hills estate while Lopez’s home undergoes a renovation.
As for Affleck’s Palisades abode, it boasts seven bedrooms and sits on half an acre next to the prestigious Riviera Country Club. The East Coast traditional-style dwelling, which was newly built when Affleck acquired it, features a gabled white-brick façade with a columned porch. The interiors, of course, are fit for any Hollywood A-lister, with an array of tasteful elements such as retractable glass walls, a statement staircase, and soaring ceilings.
The chef’s kitchen boasts trendy blue cabinetry plus top-of-the-line appliances and marble countertops, while the primary suite comes fully loaded with a fireplace, a spalike bath, and a balcony overlooking the pool court. Naturally, amenities include a swanky theatre room, plus a walk-in wine cellar, fitness center, wellness room, and full bar.
However, the home’s best feature may be the manicured grounds, which are completely flat (a rarity in the hillside enclave) surrounded by privacy hedges and rows of tall trees that completely obscure neighboring houses. The pool court touts a beautiful stone surround, waterslide, and built-in spa. There’s also an adjacent pool house equipped with a kitchenette and bath, plus a covered patio complete with heaters, a fireplace, and a flatscreen TV.
The property is listed with Santiago Arana and Zac Mostame of The Agency. See more photos below.
