When architect Oscar Lucien Ono of firm Maison Numéro 20 devised the interiors of Le Soleia, he naturally drew on the sun-warmed tones that are part of daily life in Nice. The 46-room property from the French group Inwood Hotels features a mix of pale woods, woven materials, and vintage ceramics, all layered in contrasting textures that nod to the Riviera. Guests are greeted by frescoes and low, curved seating in sand-colored fabrics, along with a sculptural plaster ceiling with a sun and cloud motif.

At the bar, leaf-pattern stools and a tall rattan palm sculpture add a playful note. In the guest rooms, three color schemes—ocher, terra-cotta, and sea green—echo the softly faded façades of the city’s Old Town as viewed from enchanting wrought-iron balconies.
