Back in the 1990s, supermodel Christy Turlington was a go-to for Giorgio Armani’s runway shows. So it made sense for the label to call upon her perennially elegant face for its latest campaign. Turlington appears in restrained examples of quintessential Armani style: a sweeping dark coat over crisp white trousers and brown boots, a muted-green leather trench with a sculptural collar, and a soft gray wrap knit cinched over white trousers with a narrow burgundy belt. The looks make their impact through texture and proportion, long, fluid lines, substantial outerwear, and quietly luxurious materials central to the Armani aesthetic.

The campaign brings together the first Giorgio Armani season under Silvana Armani and Leo Dell’Orco, pairing the collection’s pure lines and enveloping silhouettes with a more personal image vocabulary.

Fragments inspired by Giorgio Armani’s words appear alongside symbols drawn from the house’s world, including a cat, a dandelion, the Logo Lamp introduced in 1982, a rose, the number 11 for Palazzo Orsini, and a basketball honoring Olimpia Milano. The result is a carefully assembled portrait of Armani’s visual language, using familiar codes to establish a sense of continuity without simply reproducing the past.
