Cindy Crawford’s Glamorous Beverly Hills Home Hits the Market for $16 Million
The supermodel and her husband, Rande Gerber, are unloading their Trousdale Estates pied-à-terre after three years
Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, have listed their glamorous Trousdale Estates pied-à-terre for $15.99 million. The Malibu-based couple purchased the midcentury-modern residence three years ago from OneRepublic singer Ryan Tedder, who had tapped Denver firm Alvarez Morris Architectural Studio to mastermind a substantial renovation of the 1950s structure.
As is common in many residences of that era, the 5,400-square-foot dwelling is spread across a single story and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that open to the lushly landscaped terrace. During Tedder’s renovation, another bedroom was added (bringing the total to five) as was a family room and three-car garage, while upgrades were made to appliances, flooring, and windows. The sprawling main bedroom is contained in its own wing, which opens directly outside and includes a sitting area and a lavish bath equipped with a spa.
Perhaps best of all is the backyard terrace, which has been conceived as a palm-filled oasis centered around a mature coral tree with a cluster of sculptural trunks. Among the amenities on the one-acre grounds are a swimming pool and spa, fire pit, barbecue area, and lounge.
1007 Loma Vista is listed with Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency.
