In one of the priciest cities in the world, the suites at the most luxurious hotels are the height of glamour
Asia has become synonymous with over-the-top luxury, and nowhere is that grandiosity more apparent than in the jaw-dropping suites at some of Hong Kong’s most prestigious hotels. From a 2,500-square-foot rooftop terrace to Michelin-starred room service and access to a chauffeured Bentley, the experience of staying in any one of these suites promises to be an experience like no other.
Below, we take a look at the six most expensive hotel suites in Hong Kong.
1. The Ritz Carlton Suite at Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong — $20,000/night
Sitting atop one of the highest hotels in the world, this 117th-floor suite has 270-degree views of Victoria Harbour and spans 3,930 square feet. A stay at the suite includes pickup from the airport in a chauffeured Rolls-Royce, daily massages on the 118th-floor spa, and access to a butler and a personal shopper, plus an array of personal touches, like monogrammed pillowcases and bathrobes made especially for the guest.
2. The Peninsula Suite at the Peninsula Hong Kong — $16,500/night
This opulent 4,000-square-foot suite boasts breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour. The double-height living room has floor-to-ceiling windows and is equipped with a telescope and a grand piano. Guests can relax in a screening room that features state-of-the-art entertainment systems, on the private terrace, or in a ten-seat dining room that has an adjoining kitchen.
3. The Entertainment Suite at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental — $16,305/night
While not one of the biggest suites in the city, this is certainly the most tech savvy. The living area is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an entertainment wall, virtual reality and PlayStation gaming equipment, and a DJ booth. The hotel’s chefs can prepare private Michelin-starred dining at the suite’s Gaggenau kitchen, to be served to up to eight guests in the dining room. Even the bed is high-tech—it’s equipped with a FreshBed Sleep system, which controls the air flow and humidity around the bed.
