Since the beginning of his pioneering career in the early 1970s, Mattia Bonetti has approached the distinction between art and design not as a barrier, but as a wellspring of creative dialogue. Bringing together cultural influences as diverse as Ancient Greece and imperial India, his forms consciously reinvigorate classical and timeless silhouettes to transform their immediate settings into surreal landscapes of the sublime.
