Nothing brings out the interior design community quite like a well-appointed show house. In San Francisco, the hallmark event is the annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase, which launched in 1977 as a fundraiser for the city’s University High School’s Parent Association. Since then, it’s raised approximately $19 million, helping support students on financial aid.

This year’s showcase, running April 26 through May 26, takes over a stunning manse in San Francisco’s prestigious Pacific Heights neighborhood with sweeping views of the Bay Area. Built in 1902 by T. Paterson Ross and completely reimagined in 2009, this 9,400-square-foot home features eight bedrooms, seven full and three half-baths, an elevator, breathtaking gardens, and more spread throughout five levels.

“Each year, the San Francisco Decorator Showcase brings together an extraordinary roster of the region’s most talented interior and landscape designers,” says Geoffrey De Sousa, chair of the Decorator Showcase Design Advisory Board. “The 2025 Showcase will be no exception, featuring visionary designs that push creative boundaries while honoring the home’s architectural beauty. Visitors can expect a truly immersive and inspiring experience crafted by the very best in the industry.”

“The transformation of the Showcase home is nothing short of remarkable,” adds Stephanie Yee, Showcase Executive Director. “Behind the scenes, our designers pour their talent, creativity, and countless hours into bringing their visions to life—all under incredibly tight deadlines. Hundreds of volunteers, designers, donors, sponsors, builders, and visitors come together to ensure the Showcase’s success. The community’s dedication to the Showcase and the students it supports is incredible.”

The 46th San Francisco Decorator Showcase will be open at 2935 Pacific Avenue April 26 until May 26. Below, explore more rooms from the residence.
