10 Must-Have Accessories for Every Dream Yacht

Whether you are planning a month-long vacation or a daytime outing, here are the summer essentials you need for your vessel

For those lucky enough to be in the know, the yachting experience is like no other. Just like in Below Deck, there is an entire crew awaiting you to see to your every need. Each day you are offered the choice of relaxation on board or adventure at sea. You can explore private beaches with a sumptuous lunch and lounge area set up for you by the staff or try the latest gadgets in water sports depending on what items you choose to outfit your boat with. Every meal is prepared for you by a private chef, and there are a multitude of tablescape themes to choose from for every occasion sourced by the chief steward or stewardess. (If you are a tableware collector, a yacht’s butler’s pantry is a sight to behold.)

And in terms of design, the sky is the limit, as the onboard technology and lavish options available continue to go up. Galerie recently featured a bespoke, art-filled gem designed by Irish designer Bryan O’Sullivan, who updated his client’s ten-year-old Feadship vessel with contemporary furnishings by the likes of Achille Salvagni and Pierre Augustin Rose mixed with luxurious wall coverings of gold-embroidered lambswool and custom de Gournay.

Luxury hotels are also joining in on the boating game, offering a more exclusive option to cruises. Ritz-Carlton, for instance, recently launched the first of three custom-built yachts called Evrima, giving guests a more personalized experience with custom itineraries at every stop. The Four Seasons Hotels has followed suit announcing that they are building three superyachts designed by Architecture Firm Tillberg Design and Interior Designer Martin Brudnizki, with the first boat launching in 2025.

Depending on if you are a yachtsman, sailor, or even a motorboat enthusiast, Galerie has sourced some of our favorite accessories for your needs.
