Thoughtful details like tasseled fringes and tropical upholstery motifs keep the mood carefree yet elevated

A breezy blend of architecture and escapism, the sumptuous, new Lulu day lounge by Tuuci exemplifies the mounting appeal of bringing creature comforts outdoors. With its reclining backrests, oversize platform, and billowing sheer curtains, the sculptural daybed feels more like a private cabana than a piece of patio furniture. Thoughtful details like tasseled fringes and tropical upholstery motifs keep the mood carefree yet elevated.

“We’re exploring how form, materiality, and imagination come together to blend the boundaries between indoors and out,” says Dougan Clarke, Tuuci’s founder and chief product designer. The result is a customizable retreat built for alfresco leisure at all hours.
