After a year of frenzied movement at the top of the market, here’s what’s left of the nine-digit club

This has been a topsy-turvy year for real estate, to say the least. Brokers in affluent areas like the Hamptons and Aspen experienced a veritable feeding frenzy with much of their inventories snapped up and prices soaring to new heights. At the same time, residences in pricey urban locales like Manhattan languished due to a glut of listings and dearth of buyers. As a result of all this movement in the market, some nine-figure properties that had previously spent years on the MLS finally traded hands. Now, Galerie is taking stock of what’s left. The lion’s share of the country’s most expensive listings are located in Southern California, but homes in Florida and New York City also make the cut. Click below to see the full list.
