Hotel souvenirs have evolved way past logo-emblazoned robes. But leave it to two venerable Parisian style obsessions, Hotel Costes and Studio Liaigre, to go above and beyond with a capsule collection of furniture. Christian Liaigre created all six pieces as part of his design for the iconic venue’s expansion and new lobby, a project that would be his final triumph before his death in 2020. From the crisp silhouette of the Mont-Thabor armchair, executed in buttery white and tan leather (below), to the curved lines and glossy black lacquer finish of the Carrousel side table, a low-key elegance defines the array of contemporary design staples.
