Snoopy’s Influential Style Goes on View in an Immersive Exhibition
A massive new show explores the beloved character’s enduring influence on culture ahead of Fashion Week
As New York City gears up for what promises to be an exhilarating Fashion Week, a new exhibition is putting an unexpected influencer’s style on display in a massive way. “Snoopy in Style,” now on view at 25 Little West 12th Street, invites visitors into the world of Peanuts creator Charles Schulz with never-before-seen artifacts and looks he planned for his beloved characters.
Curated by The Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, ten immersive zones take visitors through the enduring style of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang, and touch on Schulz’s connections to New York City and his love of tennis. Special attention is paid to his friendship with Billie Jean King and his support for Title IX and women’s sports, an apt tribute as the U.S. Open plays out just a few boroughs over.
“Sparky understood that characters, like people, had a distinct sense of style,” says Schulz’s widow, Jean, who is also president of the BOD at the museum. “When you saw that style, you would understand something deeper about them. Sparky himself appreciated people’s personal style.”
In addition to custom-made pieces by Adidas, Bode, New York or Nowhere, Omega, Tory Burch, and other acclaimed designers, the exhibition also features collaborations with Starbucks and “Joe Cool’s Listening Lounge,” where visitors can appreciate Snoopy’s alter ego while experiencing a DJ booth, record displays, and the timeless soundtrack of the Peanuts gang.
“Snoopy in Style” is on view at 25 Little West 12th Street, New York, New York, from September 2-26, 2026.
