In the living area of a New York City residence, interior designer Steffani Aarons and architect David Howell of DHD Architecture + Interior Design created an inviting setting for enjoying intoxicating Central Park views. Twin Marta Sala Éditions sofas curve around a pair of Erwan Boulloud bronze-top tables. Holly Hunt swivel lounge chairs flank a custom DeMuro Das side table near the windows.

A painting by Eamon Ore-Giron presides over one end of the combined dining and living room, where glass-top side tables by Tom Faulkner join a Pieter Maes bench covered in a Dedar tiger-pattern velvet. A Dimoremilano light fixture is suspended above the Cristian Branea dining table and Holly Hunt chairs upholstered in a Pierre Frey fabric; the rug is a Tim Gosling design for The Rug Company.

At the room’s other end, a work by Whitney Bedford hangs near a group of vintage Jindřich Halabala chairs around a DeMuro Das pyrite table and poufs by Maison Gerard.

In the foyer, a luxurious finish created by Jonathan Kutzin of America Painting provides a striking backdrop for an Ayala Serfaty light sculpture from Maison Gerard and an artwork by Marcel Dzama; DHD crafted blackened-steel arches for the doorways and a window where Aarons installed a Liaigre bench.

A Francesca DiMattio painting and an Atelier Alain Ellouz alabaster sconce are mounted atop a Carlisle & Co. tweed wallpaper in the study, which is furnished with a Promemoria leather-wrapped desk.

The study’s cerused-oak bookshelves wrap around a Ross Bleckner painting and a Room sofa in a Rubelli fabric that is grouped with a 1940s Gilbert Rohde table for Herman Miller, a Carlo Nason floor lamp for Mazzega1946, and a Holly Hunt swivel lounge chair. The carpet is by Tim Gosling for The Rug Company.

A double door fashioned by DHD with antiqued mirrors leads to the primary bedroom from the living area, where a Richard Serra artwork hangs on the far wall. Next to the bed, which is dressed with Matouk linens and an E. Braun & Co. cashmere throw, a Claude Lawrence painting is displayed above a shagreen-covered chest of drawers by R&Y Augousti. The floor lamp is by Roberto Giulio Rida through Donzella.

The onyx-and-marble-encased primary bath features a custom tub and Dornbracht sink fittings.
