Renowned Palm Beach firm SMI Landscape Architecture created a fantasy garden in the home’s rear courtyard, wrapping the space in a vine patterned lattice painted Benjamin Moore’s Aegean Teal. A canopy of maho trees creates a dappled light effect over the outdoor dining area of Cox London faux bois furniture situated near a custom koi-pond mosaic.

West Palm Beach antiques and design firm Casa Gusto created a “Colonial Hothouse” in the foyer, staircase, and hall, adding English paneling painted Benjamin Moore’s Saybrook Sage to set the scene. “We wanted a space that was formal, but also very much lived in,” the firm’s Pablo Briger tells Galerie. Eighteenth-century prints in Casa Gusto framing, Jamb lighting, and the atelier’s wall-mounted talavera complete the airy space.

Influenced by how a family would use this living area, Benjamin Deaton created a “Parlour Games” room, wrapped in a Phillip Jeffries wallcovering inspired by Bunny Mellon’s iconic New York dining room. A Kravet sofa and The Shade Store window treatments offer airy moments, while butterfly fabric in a chocolate color, Cowtan and Tout upholstered seating, and Billy Baldwin slipper chairs give a masculine element to the soothing space. “I wanted the room to have that coastal Florida feel but I also feel like this room could be in so many different places around the southeast,” he tells Galerie.

Mikel Welch created this “primitive modern” family room complete with dramatic cabinets from his own furniture collection for Yosemite Home Decor, tassel M2C Studio chandelier, a vintage dining table repurposed as a console, and cocktail table that emphasized the length of the room. “I love things that are collected, that tell a story, things that are imperfect, so I look for things that have patina and character,” says Welch. “For the seating area, I wanted to have something that would feel relaxed and casual and inviting, so the quickest way to do that is to incorporate linen.” Here, the material is reflected in linen drapery from The Shade Store, pillows, and the slipcover sofa. Greenery brings a natural pop of color.

Mark Williams and Niki Papadopoulos of Atlanta firm Mark Williams Design created this modern kitchen, drawing inspiration from the home’s Spanish tile floors. White oak cabinets from Bentwood Luxury Kitchens are paired with Dekton by Cosentino countertops; the state-of-the-art appliances are by Monogram.

For her “Menagerie Dining Room,” designer Lorna Gross took inspiration from a whimsical Flora rug from New Moon Rugs, then carried the animal pattern onto the walls. “Coming out of COVID, I was interested in giving people a lift,” the designer tells Galerie. Cute moments such as Kim Seybert dragonfly napkin rings and turtle salt-and-pepper shakers are elevated by the sophisticated metallic accents of a sculptural Currey & Company chandelier, Carrier and Company dining table, and custom doors that match the geometric shape of the large-scale mirrors.

The powder room by Atlanta-based Forbes+Masters is transformed into a tropical sanctuary inspired by an outdoor spa at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico. Richly veined marble creates a painterly effect behind a modern Kohler sink. “We wanted the lines to be pretty organic,” says the designer who selected the fluted Currey & Company pendants for their lily pad-like shape while a textural artwork by Hopeton St. Clair adds a bold pop of stark white.

HW Interiors‘s Lisa Hynes and Heather Weisz created a show-stopping moment in a utility space with a backlit onyx floor that gleams in tandem with the brass inlay of the custom bleached walnut doors and striking Currey & Company light fixture. A rug from Kyle Bunting’s new collection complements the stripes on the far wall. “We wanted to use luxurious materials in a practical way and try to make an everyday room like a laundry room really a destination you want to be in,” says Hynes.

To craft the ultimate “Contessa’s Bedroom,” Houston designer Nina Magon took cues from a series of glamorous artworks, most notably a large-scale Horst P. Horst photograph from Holden Luntz Gallery. A custom headboard upholstered in a Fabricut textile punctuates the walls painted in Benjamin Moore’s Rosy Tan. Luminescent panels within the custom molding give the romantic Milanese suite an ethereal glow while a custom chandelier from the designer’s upcoming collection with Maxim Lighting, available in June, adds a sculptural moment against the Wall and Deco wallpaper.

Ontario-based designer Alexandra Naranjo brought an exotic spirit into the primary bath where a vibrant de Gournay wallpaper created a transportive atmosphere. A new sapphire blue Kohler tub is surmounted by a glamorous Currey & Company pendant, while new Phillip Jeffries ombre grasscloth and metallic raffia wallcovering used on the ceiling add a painterly effect.

Naranjo also created the Tiffany Blue adjoining closet for a well-traveled couple who enjoys the finer things in life. A custom runner from New Moon Rugs provides art underfoot while an eye-catching chinoiserie-esque wallcovering from Osborne & Little completes the “Asian Enchantment” design. “I’m known for doing a lot of blues, it’s a very big part of who I am as a designer,” says Naranjo. “For the walk-in closet, I wanted to do something fun. I love pattern and maximalism.”

A welcoming guest suite, cultivated by Atlanta’s Amy Morris, mixes a relaxing red with oceany blues. Grasscloth on the walls and ceiling add to the coastal ambience. Linen drapery from the Shade Store is trimmed in a Thibaut Spa Blue tape while a thoughtful mix of contemporary seating and antique cabinetry make for a pleasant lounge area. “I love a mix of old and new,” says the designer.

The view from the Anna Braund–designed loggia may be pure Palm Beach, but the scene here is upscale Morocco with a palette of cream, saffron, and terra cotta. Perennials textiles mixed with rattan and wicker furnishing and Bevolo lanterns provide a casual yet elegant place for respite.

Brittany Bromley brought the romance of a boutique hotel in the French countryside to this spacious bedroom where a large-scale trellis pattern painted on the floor lends itself to the garden print on the sage-colored de Gournay wallcovering, customized with hand-painted parrots. “Once we had the parrots in place, the color scheme took on a life of its own,” Bromley tells Galerie. “The pale greens, blues, and pinks are so evocative of Florida and to me just felt perfect for this locale.” A Venetian plaster ceiling reflects the golden glow of the antique crystal chandelier.

The palm-print Schumacher wallpaper of Courtney Giles‘s main bedroom set the stage for the designer’s beachy retreat featuring Pernnials textiles, Katie Madden artwork, and a hand-painted sisal rug from Mary Meade Evans. Scalloped edging is reflected on a number of pieces around the room, from a corner chair and lamp shades to the soft bed linens on the dramatic Courtney bed from Bungalow Classic.

For this Wonderland-like guest bedroom, Kemble Interiors‘s Lori Deeds and Cece Bowman collaborated with Aqualille on a large-scale print, hand-painted on silk. “What we love about this company is they have no boundaries, every single design is from the ground up,” they say about the up-and-coming wallpaper atelier, which is making its Palm Beach debut. The room’s inspiration came from the twisting vines of the custom bed, a Kemble Interiors design dating to the 1990s. Laser-cut shutters are crafted to resemble rain droplets, completing the “Beyond Eden” vibe.

Fabric designer Mally Skok‘s “Sunny Spot” suite echoed the rich colors of the terra cotta roof tiles, with a joyous coral shade on the ceiling and doors. Her new Secret Temple wallpaper makes its debut at the show house, enveloping the room that’s dotted with artwork by Pamela Hoffmeister and beach-chic prints discovered on Chairish. “This is what my office would look like if I was doing an office for myself,” Skok tells Galerie.

Miami-based designer Nicole White set a seductive scene in the primary bath where bronze three-dimensional tiles provided a glamorous backdrop for matte black mirrors, Kohler fixtures, and a floating vanity made with Consentino stone. The bronze tiles geometric pattern is reflected in the collage-like pattern of the Human Nature wallpaper by Twill and Texture. “There’s a lot of playfulness happening in this bath, a lot of texture and dimension,” says White.

White also created the fantasy dressing area perfect for a modern-day trendsetter. Custom Container Store cabinets are enhanced with emerald-green hardware, while a large-scale artwork by Kabriah Asha entitled Manyoya Yake enlivens the fashionable gallery. “It’s a closet, but it’s also a place to hang out and celebrate art as well,” White tells Galerie of the seating area topped with pillows made with textiles from S. Harris’s Orejen Collection in partnership with the Black Artists and Designers Guild.

Local designer Ellen Kavanaugh captured the tropical glamour of Mustique in her terrace entertaining area. Natural textures and artisanal pieces create a resort-like atmosphere while a brass bar and seashell pink table provide a luxe area for après-beach cocktails.
