A crumpled-metal sculpture by John Chamberlain presides over Darlene and Jorge M. Pérez’s living room at the top of an OMA-designed building in Coconut Grove. Will Meyer and Gray Davis, the duo who oversaw the interior, grouped sofas and swivel chairs by Minotti with vintage Marco Zanuso lounge chairs around glass-top Amorph tables, arranging everything on a copper-wire rug by Hechizoo. One of Sol LeWitt’s open-cube sculptures stands near the window, which is framed by Donghia fabric curtains.

An early pioneer of Color Field painting, the late artist Kenneth Noland is celebrated for his bold canvases, featuring abstracted forms like targets, chevrons, and stripes. Presiding over the dining area is his 1970 canvas Sea Rise, which illustrates the power of a single hue.

In need of a chic filing cabinet for Jorge’s office, the Meyer Davis team tapped Mexico City–based artisan Orfeo Quagliata to create a custom fused-glass credenza using colors from a vintage rug. Pictured is a similar cabinet he made with Taracea that features his signature barcode pattern.
