Located on a beautiful stretch of emerald-green coastline in Georgia, Sea Island attracts world-class golfers who come to experience the three championship courses. These breathtaking fairways abut picturesque tidal creeks and salt marshes, rolling lawns and quiet pines, while challenging even the most skilled with a coastal breeze, bunkers, and sharp curves.

Just as famous as its PGA visits and iconic fourth hole is its men’s lounge, long considered the greatest locker room in golf. Now, the women have a space equally enchanting as the resort opens the door to a welcoming salon crafted by New York- and New Orleans-designers Brockschmidt & Coleman, orchestrated in collaboration with Galerie.

Taking inspiration from the bucolic setting, designers Bill Brockschmidt and Courtney Coleman devised a sumptuous environment with plush sofas, game tables, and vanity areas perfect for taking guests from links to lunch while still offering cozy corners for convivial relaxation. “The goal was to create a space where women genuinely want to spend time before or after golf, over lunch, or maybe around a mahjong table for a few hours,” says Steilen.

Adding flavor to the layered interior were botanical wall coverings and fabrics by Sanderson and Fabricut, atmospheric lighting by Visual Comfort, and colorful Wendover artworks that overlook chic vanity areas composed of custom Kingdom cabinets topped with Cosentino surfaces and embellished with Sherle Wagner hardware. Curtains of a Holly Hunt fabric, Made Goods accessories, Pooky lamps, and a refreshing garden palette of Little Greene paints completed the residential-like setting.
