Sarah Ysabel Narici is a storyteller. Through her Loverglyphs collection, she creates bespoke gold signet rings that express each wearer’s identity with hand-engraved symbols, codes, and custom-cut gemstones.

“I record people’s lives in gold rather than the written word,” says the British Italian designer, who established her brand, Dyne, in New York just a year ago. These pieces reflect Narici’s fascination with ancient cultures and symbolism, a passion she’s had since childhood that she later explored while studying at Central Saint Martins in London.

She then spent a decade working for Marina B and Lorraine Schwartz, among others, before striking out on her own. Although her creations are distinctly contemporary, they reflect subtle ancient references and auspicious ciphers. A new series inspired by the Egyptian pharaohs’ ornate headdresses includes sleek gold bangles and ear cuffs.
