Ralph Pucci Hosts Annual Jazz Night Featuring Gregory Porter and Christian McBride
The special evening raised money for leading arts and education nonprofit Jazz House Kids
For its seventh annual Jazz Set, a one-night-only event that benefits New Jersey nonprofit Jazz House Kids, leading design gallery Ralph Pucci International teamed up with two musical heavyweights for a spectacular evening of creativity. On February 28, best-selling vocalist and songwriter Gregory Porter joined world-renowned bassist Christian McBride for a spectacular concert and conversation.
Taking place at Ralph Pucci International’s New York showroom, this event marks the sixth year that the gallery has partnered with Jazz House Kids, which has established a reputation as one of the nation’s preeminent arts education and performance organizations and recently expanded to New York. Kicking the night off with champagne and hors d’oeuvres at the reception, Porter and McBride then set down for an intimate conversation titled “The Lowdown: Conversations with Christian.”
Converting Ralph Pucci’s showroom into a special jazz venue, the remainder of the evening consisted of dancing among the crowd. See more photos of the event below.
