Ralph Lauren Kicks Off Ryder Cup with Polo Bear Cameo, Stunning Hospitality Suite
The official outfitter of the U.S. Team shared the adorable clip “from the course” as festivities get underway at Bethpage Black.
Ralph Lauren’s iconic Polo Bear is back this weekend for a weekend full of golf and fashion. To kick off the 2025 Ryder Cup festivities, Ralph Lauren shared an adorable clip of Polo Bear and his pigeon sidekick at Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York. Polo Bear makes an admirable approach shot, but that’s when things go off the rails thanks to the pigeon. As he attempts to sink his putt, the devious pigeon drives an out-of-control golf cart close to the green, disrupting Polo Bear’s concentration and ultimately causing him to miss.
The video is just a snippet of the action that Ralph Lauren, the official outfitter of the U.S. Team, has planned for this weekend. At the course, Ralph Lauren is welcoming guests to an exclusive hospitality suite overlooking the 16th hole, where custom cocktails including the Ryder Cup Royale, Birdy Gimlet, Ridegway Margaritas, and Eagle Eye Cooler are on ice. Ralph’s Coffee is also on site, with a curated menu of coffees, cold brews and tea.
Elsewhere, guests are invited to enjoy several activations including a chance to putt with the esteemed Polo Bear. “Putt with the Polo Bear” will see the beloved plush icon cheer golfers on in real time, with over 30 animated reactions. The brand is also offering the “Create-Your-Own-Program,” where guests can create customized Ralph Lauren Ryder Cup merchandise, which is also available for purchase at the Ryder Cup Merchandise Pavilion.
