This week, Tiffany & Co. announced the third launch phase of the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams Collection. First launched in May 2024, the dazzling assortment is inspired by the mythological Poseidon and his spear-like trident, a nod to Atlantis, the community in Virginia Beach where Pharrell Williams was raised.
Bold and rebellious, the first drop comprised spiky, angular silhouettes and spear-shaped motifs juxtaposed with undulating curved chain links rendered in gold, titanium, and diamonds. The second series, which debuted in September, then put the focus on shimmering white freshwater pearls. Now, the newest expression of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams is all about high-luster Tahitian pearls.

Measuring over 11 mm each, the pearls used in the collection are sourced from the islands of French Polynesia. Tahitian pearls are among the rarest and most valued of cultured pearl varieties, thanks to their long culturing time (around 18 months) and unique hue.
“It is incredibly fulfilling as an artist to take something as established and well known as pearl jewelry and reinvent it: to put my creative spin on it,” said Pharrell Williams. “I am fortunate that Tiffany & Co. has given me the tools, the opportunity, and their trust to continue to build on a classic and make it something new.”

There are five styles, including a pendant, earrings, necklace, bracelet, and ring, each crafted in 18k rose gold with pavé diamonds against the natural tint of the pearls, ranging in color from blue to gray. On the bracelet and necklace, the pearls are alternated with spike rondelles crafted from 18k gold. Since no two pearls are alike, Tiffany artisans work in line with responsible pearl sourcing to hand select each stone for harmonious designs.
An exciting highlight of the collection is also the new Titan Setting, an innovative prongless diamond setting that gives the jewels the appearance of floating. Using a micro-groove around the underside of the diamond, Tiffany’s use of the Floeting® Platform elevates the diamond above the setting without visible hardware, to highlight the clarity of the stone. “I wanted to explore the concept of floating on some of these pieces,” said Williams. “The whole collection is a continuation of pulling from the inspiration of Posieden and the sea.”
