For the past three decades, Theodore Alexander has made an indelible mark on the design community with its wide range of distinguished furnishings. Offering pieces for almost every room in the home, their collection of case goods, plush seating, exquisite lighting, and artful accents embodies timeless style, encapsulating quiet luxury with thoughtfully conceived artisan details, like the graceful melding of hand-forged metal and sumptuous roll-back seat rests of the Fiona bar and counter stools.

“Theodore Alexander’s collections for living, dining, bedroom, and office spaces carefully balance classic elegance with contemporary details, creating unique pieces for today that will surely become heirlooms later,” says Missy Strear, Theodore Alexander’s VP of Merchandising & Product Development.

With each season, Theodore Alexander expands their offerings with carefully considered new additions that illustrate the talents of their stable of master craftsmen. Included in the brand’s most recent debut is the Leon credenza, which has a traditional angular form, enhanced with an all-over geometric pattern that’s given added dimension with an alloy metal leaf finish.

The Ophelia drinks table stands as a functional work of art, its graceful hand-cast metal base a gentle cluster of sculptural banana leaves, while the Panos table astounds with an abstract pattern of hand-painted ombre lines that takes approximately 100 hours to complete.

Nature permeates the collection as well, with examples such as the Strata credenza creatively reinterpreting layers of sedimentary rock into a multidimensional door-front crafted from figured sycamore. Other works take a more literal approach, including the Troy drink table, which features a horse-shape base, with exaggerated sinuous legs supporting a metal tray.

“Whether it’s a large-scale cabinet featuring our own cast-brass hardware or a small decorative table, everything in the Theodore Alexander collection has the same attention to detail and high level of craftsmanship,” adds Strear. “We believe in using the most interesting materials for both function and beauty. To us, quality is paramount and we aim for excellence in every single piece. We strive for innovative designs and create furniture to last lifetimes.”
