For over two decades, the elegant Longines Master Collection has exemplified the fine art of classic Swiss watchmaking. First introduced in 2005, the series is all about traditional, understated luxury, drawing on design codes that date back to the early 20th century. Today, the brand unveils a completely redesigned collection for men and women, with new three-hand models, moonphase chronographs, and, for the first time within the Longines Master Collection, a monopusher chronograph.

A delicate balance between heritage and contemporary innovation, the updates and refinements reflect an organic evolution of the codes rather than a departure. To celebrate the launch, Longines has brought together its full roster of global Ambassadors of Elegance, including award-winning actors Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lawrence, Henry Cavill, Eddie Peng, Zhao Liying, and Yosh Yu, in a creative showcase that captures the essence of the brand.

The most exciting introduction is the Longines Master Collection Chrono Monopusher. Offered in two 41mm stainless-steel executions, the timepiece pays homage to Longines’ pioneering history in wrist chronographs—a lineage that began as early as 1911 and gained fame on the wrists of legendary aviators like Amelia Earhart and Richard Byrd. Engineered for effortless operation, the chronograph’s start, stop, and reset functions are controlled via a single, elegant pusher integrated directly into the crown.

Encircling the dial is a vintage-inspired pulsometer scale—a nod to the tactile instruments crafted for 20th-century physicians to measure heart rates with quick accuracy. Powered by a L799.5 manual-winding movement with a silicon balance spring, the watch pairs technical mastery with aesthetic beauty. It is offered with either a silver opaline or frosted blue barleycorn dial and is paired with handsome alligator leather straps.

The Chrono Moonphase, meanwhile, is another standout of the new series. Few complications evoke the romance and poetry of traditional horology quite like the moonphase, and this piece is no exception. In this new Chrono Moonphase, Longines highlights the complication at 6 o’clock. Driven by the self-winding column-wheel calibre L687.5, the 41mm timepiece features a variety of calendar indications, including small seconds and a 24-hour display, and day and month apertures at 12 o’clock.

The silver dial is finished with a new barleycorn pattern, creating a subtle interplay of light across its textured surface. Blue steel hands and blue Arabic numerals complete the dial. It is a special nod to the historic 1911 pocket watches found in the Longines Museum at the company’s historic headquarters in Saint-Imier, Switzerland.

Finally, for those drawn to essential form, the collection’s expanded three-hand timepieces come in four sizes: 30mm, 34mm, 39mm, and 41mm. The dials come in blue sunray, light blue barleycorn, and mother-of-pearl, anchored by diamond hour markers set in rounded chatons.

The classic stainless-steel bracelets are now available in two-tone variations featuring 18-karat rose and yellow gold caps for a visual twist. With ultra-slim profiles, these models capture the easy, everyday elegance the brand is beloved for.
