East Hampton’s LDV at The Maidstone Welcomes Summer with Ginori 1735 Collaboration
The partnership brings a touch of la dolce vita flair to Long Island's East End this summer

This week, East Hampton’s iconic LDV at the Maidstone kicked off a summer-long partnership with Ginori 1735 that will see the hotel’s garden and interiors transformed into a shoppable and interactive experience with the Italian brand. A centerpiece of the collaboration is Ginori 1735’s Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection of tableware, tea, and coffee cups by artist Luke Edward Hall, which was celebrated during a colorful, fashionable dinner.
Hall’s vibrant color scheme that includes Amalfi lemon, sky blue, terracotta, and pine green was complemented by Scarpetta executive chef Jorge Espinosa’s multi-course creations that began with a crudo duo followed by a grilled zucchini salad and classic pasta dish.
Guests were given a choice of entrée dishes that included branzino, diver scallops, or cauliflower steak, all accompanied by shared sides of heirloom potatoes and charred broccolini. Each course, which included a dessert of market strawberries with basil granita and crème, was paired with select wines from Antinori. The celebratory atmosphere was surrounded by colorful florals by Sag Harbor Florist, while the evening’s Mediterranean spirit was captured in a soundtrack curated by Danilo Braca.
The partnership, which lasts through September, also features Ginori 1735-customized patterns on umbrellas and seating areas throughout the property, which features 19 rooms and three standalone cottages. Set in the Oriente Italiano Meringa motif, the arrangements help bring a touch of la dolce vita to Long Island’s East End all summer long.
