Galerie Magazine and La Prairie Celebrate the Launch of Skin Caviar Luxe Cream

Guests toasted to 25 years of skincare while enjoying caviar and cocktails in East Hampton

On Monday, friends of Galerie magazine joined hosts Lisa Fayne Cohen, founder and editorial director of Galerie, and editor in chief Jacqueline Terrebonne for an early evening of caviar and cocktails in honor of 25 of years La Prairie’s Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. Guests including Anne Keating, Stephanie Nass, Fern Mallis, and Randy Kemper gathered at Cohen’s East Hampton home, where they previewed this fresh reinterpretation of the original Skin Caviar, created in 1987.

On view in a customized Airstream trailer, which was unmissable in the brand’s signature cobalt blue, was a variety of La Prairie classics and recent editions as well as the two versions of the upcoming release. On the residence’s ocean side, conversation flowed in the beautifully appointed pool house and seemed to begin naturally with recaps of recent adventures abroad and plans for the last weeks of summer—yet always found their way to the revolutionary cream, with its velvety texture and new sustainable jar made of recycled and recyclable glass. As the sun started to dip below the horizon, everyone took on a rosy golden glow, but there’s no telling if it was a result of sampling all the La Prairie goodies or if it was the perfect August sunset.
