While the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York is a hallmark event for the design community, the satellite installations in Palm Beach and more recently Dallas have demonstrated this creative gathering has a powerful draw set against an urban skyline, palm trees and sandy beaches, or a bucolic suburban landscape.

Now in its fifth year, the Dallas show house this time transforms a stately mansion at 2999 Turtle Creek Boulevard in the city’s upscale Turtle Creek neighborhood. Within the historic French-Renaissance style building once intended to host the city’s first Mandarin Oriental hotel, 25 designers from across the country crafted inspiring spaces, drawing from myriad inspirations and influences. Bookended by the historic Rosewood Mansion and a planned Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, the site includes a 25,000-square-foot two-story office building and more than two acres of undeveloped land.

“This year’s show house offers a unique opportunity and design landscape to the participating designers,” says James Druckman, President of the Board of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. “We’re excited to see how each designer approached their space and transformed this commercial building and we’re eager to welcome guests into this first-of-its-kind show house.”

As is customary, the show house—which is open through November 13—raises much needed funds for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, a philanthropic organization that serves disadvantaged youth throughout the Bronx, New York, with educational and leadership programs. Additionally, the Dallas event benefits area charities Dwell with Dignity, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding families struggling with homelessness and poverty, as well as the Crystal Charity Ball that aids, supports, and provides assistance to children’s organizations within Dallas County.

Below, Galerie offers a look into many of the spectacular spaces.

Drawing inspiration from the Château de Gudanes in the South of France, Eddie Maestri of Maestri Studios conceived Le Salon de Musique. Enveloped in Porter Teleo’s Into the Wild wall covering, the room boasts curved burlwood panels accented with brass, a hand-tufted Feizy rug, Mous furnishings, and textiles by Samuel & Sons. Jiun Ho’s Hanagasumi pendant and the new Melt chandelier by Workshop APD for Arteriors add to the space’s cinematic ambience.

Informed by a 1948 Cecil Beaton photograph that ran on the cover of Vogue, Kim Scodro crafted a glamorous dining room outfitted in a dreamy Gracie wallpaper complemented by Gossamer Blue paint by Benjamin Moore. A spritely antique Murano chandelier adds a refreshing pop of pink.
