Jason Statham Lists Midcentury Modern Gem for $7 Million
The Fast & Furious actor recently revived the Hollywood Hills home with the help of Standard Architecture
English actor Jason Statham and fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have listed their beautifully revamped midcentury-modern gem for just under $7 million. Built in 1957, the four-bedroom home is located on a prime parcel in the Hollywood Hills, just north of the Sunset Strip.
After purchasing the 3,000-square-foot retreat in 2015, Statham embarked on an 18-month renovation with his longtime collaborator, architect Jeff Allsbrook of Standard Architecture. (The pair also worked together on Statham’s Beverly Hills estate.)
While the home’s exterior, including the striking butterfly roof, remained largely intact, the majority of the interiors were completely revamped with a Scandinavian twist. Now ceilings are lined in warm cedar planks, the awkward floor plan has been graciously opened up, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors allow for seamless indoor-outdoor living throughout.

At Statham’s request, the design team paid homage to minimalist architect John Pawson’s Baron House in Sweden with the spacious master suite, which boasts a stand-alone concrete tub and vanity.
Sybarites will no doubt find joy in the dwelling’s bevy of outdoor amenities, among them a secluded basalt-paved saltwater pool, a barrel sauna, and Hoshizaki ice maker equipped with a stainless-steel immersion tub.

The home is listed with Branden Williams and Rayni Williams of Hilton & Hyland.
