Season after season, Saint-Tropez, France, beckons visitors with its inimitable variety of summer activities. This year, a stylish new resort worthy of the locale’s mystique opens its doors. Arev St Tropez, conceived by renowned Madrid designer Luis Bustamante, captures the area’s old-school glamour.

A crisp color scheme of white and navy, with cheery pops of red in patterns of toiles and stripes, invigorates each of the 43 unique guest rooms and suites. Here, floor-to-ceiling windows allow the location’s enchanting natural light to stream inside and across sartorial chaises outlined in pristine piping, four-poster beds dressed in crisp white linens, and nautical-chic white furniture accented with hints of patinated brass.

There’s also buzz surrounding the reopening of the Strand Restaurant and Champagne Lounge, a shuttered gem long beloved by those in the know that is resurrected at Arev, which is sure to become just as legendary. At the contemporary reintroduction, guests can enjoy light fare crafted using vegetables and herbs sourced from the onsite garden. A seasonal Mediterranean menu is complemented by an equally considered wine list while a roving champagne trolley adds to the celebratory ambience.
