Overlooking the sun-dappled Gulf of Tigullio in picturesque Portofino, Italy, chef Carlo Cracco’s newest namesake restaurant elevates delectable regional seafood such as prawns, sea snails, and blue lobster with more earthy ingredients, including purple asparagus, fava beans, and baby tomatoes.

Adding to the transportive atmosphere at Cracco Portofino is the sophisticated interior conceived by Laura Sartori Rimini and Roberto Peregalli of Studio Peregalli, who also designed Cracco in Milan. Under their inspired vision, organic elements like stone, wood, and straw have been transformed into enchanting surroundings that harmoniously blend with the epicurean destination’s scenic views. Guests can also choose to indulge in the Michelin-starred chef ’s 11-course tasting menu, ideally paired with a bottle from the restaurant’s award-winning cellar, or have meals catered to their yacht for the ultimate in la dolce vita.
