Farrow & Ball has announced the winners of its Iconic Spaces 2026 global design competition, which was judged across five categories, including Best Outdoor Space, Best Front Door, Best Use of Signature Palette, Best Use of an Archive Color, and Best Use of Wallpaper. Of those honorees, two were crowned with the title of Iconic Space 2026.

Entries were critiqued on their use of color by a panel of Farrow & Ball experts, including Joa Studholme, Patrick O’Donnell, Charlotte Cosby, and Gareth Hayfield, who chose winners located in the U.K., U.S., and Germany.

One of the Iconic Space 2026 honorees was the winner of the Best Use of Signature Palette for the transformation of a bath suite. The walls feature Farrow & Ball Setting Plaster and Modern Emulsion, the window features Yeabridge Green and Modern Eggshell, and the Bathtub is finished in Studio Green and Modern Eggshell. “We were all unanimous that the award should be split to fully represent Farrow & Ball as both a heritage and modern brand,” says Patrick O’Donnell, International Brand Ambassador for Farrow & Ball. “We all wanted to dive into the bath and were scenario playing on music and scent to accompany the bubbles, but we also loved the way soft pastels played, such as striking, yet empathetic role in the structure of the new extension.”

The other Iconic Space honoree also won Best Use of an Archive Color, and featured faded Terracotta and Dead Flat on the walls and ceiling, Hazy and Dead Flat on the upper wall, and Citrona and Dead Flat on the lower wall. “The skillful layering of our Archive colors in this space can’t help but make one feel happy,” says Joa Studholme, Color Curator of Farrow & Ball. “The playful use of three colors makes for a sunny and uplifting space created by the juxtaposition of three very different tones, but each with the same intensity.”
