Discover the New Amber Lewis x Four Hands Lighting Collection
The designer-favorite collaboration introduces lighting for every space and style
Since its debut, the Amber Lewis x Four Hands collection has featured hundreds of approachable and inspired styles across a multitude of categories. This spring, the collaboration welcomes lighting. With an array of fixtures—ranging from lamps and sconces to pendants and chandeliers—this expansion speaks to a core theme of the joint effort: There’s something for every space and style.
Designing a lighting collection was the natural next step for the collaboration that premiered in April 2024. “Lighting is such an important part of interior design,” says Adam Dunn, SVP of Design at Four Hands. “It sets the mood and gives a space personality.” How a room is illuminated can dramatically influence its function just as much as its beauty and character, which is why the Amber Lewis x Four Hands collection encompasses pieces that are both purposeful and beautiful.
Large-scale chandeliers and pendants bring an assortment of materials, dimension, and character. Shades, frosted glass, and various depths of color blend with thoughtfully crafted metalwork to offer a layered, softer lighting approach. Floor and table lamps elevate necessary task lighting with dynamic shade options, including natural linen, woven rattan, and even acid-washed metal. Each piece is designed to both complement a space and serve as its focal point while also radiating its own narrative.
Inspiration came from an array of sources—natural textures and materials, Spanish design, classic Greek silhouettes, vintage finds, metal finishes, and artisanal techniques all lend influence to the Amber Lewis x Four Hands collection. “I saw an antique vessel at the Four Hands showroom in Austin, and I immediately asked, ‘Can we turn this into a lamp?’” says Lewis. “We were able to capture the one-of-a-kind texture and look of an antique and make it our own.”
That creativity is also reflected in the collection’s material choices. Lighting pieces appear in boldly textured marble, blown amber glass, and brass that’s meant to patina beautifully over time. Creative elements, like wrought iron with finials and curves, perforated metal, and iridescent finishes, demonstrate the care and craft that went into designing each light fixture.
The new Amber Lewis x Four Hands lighting collection comes to market alongside a wider range of spring introductions for the brand. Among the season’s debuts are myriad pieces utilizing rich materials that explore movement and dimension, a fresh take on neutrals, and art from renowned street photographer and photojournalist Barbara Alper.
