Betsy Wentz Reveals Her Mother’s Day Gift List
The Design Happy creative selects colorful presents for anyone looking to shower Mom with love and high style

Interior designer Betsy Wentz’s infectious personality radiates from the colorful spaces she crafts around the country, from her Pittsburgh hometown to vacation communities in New York, California, Florida, and Maine. At last year’s Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach, she conceived a second-floor lounge awash in tropical hues, bold botanicals, and transportive canvases by Rob Tucker, whose artwork punctuates the designer’s own jubilant residence.
It’s a recognizable aesthetic coming from the creative whose debut monograph Design Happy (Gibbs Smith) celebrates 12 family residences that decadently blend color and pattern. So naturally, when orchestrating a list of perfect Mother’s Day gifts, Wentz selected little luxuries that embrace jewel tones and expressive designs. It’s an assortment perfect for showering Mom with lots of love and good cheer.
