1. Farrow & Ball x Christopher John Rogers at Riggs Washington D.C.
Marking the collaboration between two major talents, designer Christopher John Rogers, a Galerie Creative Mind, has teamed up with Farrow & Ball to craft a whimsical and vibrant tree for five-star stay Riggs Washington D.C. Inspired by the two’s latest Carte Blanche collection, the 18-foot tree is adorned in 12 varying paint colors alongside large-scale bows made of hand-painted paper. To pack an even bigger punch, an array of ornaments have been added to punctuate this festive tree.
2. Assouline at the The Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach
Perhaps one of the most anticipated trees for the holiday season, Assouline has unveiled its annual Christmas tree in sunny Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana Plaza. Inspired by the publishing company’s famed “Travel From Home” series, surfboards honoring the different city volumes are brought together to craft this soaring and creative sculpture.
3. Houses & Parties for The Dunlin, Auberge Resorts Collection
When it comes to less is more, Houses & Parties definitely disagrees. For this holiday season, company founder Rebecca Gardner decorated an ornate Christmas tree at South Carolina destination The Dunlin with a variety of accessories including white pearl garlands, coral branches, oceanic hand-blown ornaments, and a netted tulle skirt. Topping the larger-than-life conifer is a dazzling bauble-filled nest.
4. The Tampa Edition x The Dalí Museum
The perfect blend of art and design, five-star hotel the Tampa Edition has teamed up with the world-renowned Dalí Museum for an artistic Christmas tree this festive season. Drawing inspiration from a watercolor holiday card created by Salvador Dalí himself, this 15-foot tree reimagines the world of Surrealism through a dreamy white color palette made using pampas grass while and ethereal butterfly motif. Additionally, custom holiday cards featuring Dalí’s Mariposas (1967) butterfly design will also be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds donated to The Dalí Museum.
5. Jenny Packham at Pulitzer Amsterdam
Fashion designer Jenny Packham has brought her renowned talents to the heart of Amsterdam for a dreamy festive display. Located outside the luxurious Pulitzer Amsterdam, a towering fir is adorned with artisanal fabric tied into striking monochromatic bows that nod to Packham’s royal designs. In a nod to the hotel’s rich history, a series of shimmering handmade pearl ornaments add the perfect finishing touch.
6. Ladurée at The St. Regis New York
One of the most tantalizing Christmas installations can be found at The St. Regis New York, where beloved French patisserie Ladurée has installed a festive and sweet display. A 12-foot tree welcomes guests inside the hotel lobby, which is decorated with oversized macarons in a color palette of gold, cream, and teal; dried florals; and custom designed ornaments. Alongside the Christmas tree stands Ladurée’s signature macaron cart, where guests can enjoy tasty treats and holiday cheer.
7. Sir Paul Smith at Claridge’s
London’s legendary Mayfair hotel Claridge’s has unveiled its much-anticipated Christmas tree, collaborating with legendary talent Sir Paul Smith for its annual tradition. Located at the foot of the hotel’s soaring staircase, the fashion designer’s 19-foot tree display incorporates an impressive 100 bespoke mechanical birdhouses, all created by British artist Nik Ramage. At the base, design firm Studiomama added a series of their whimsical ‘Off Cut Creatures’ to introduce even more seasonal cheer. For a fully immersive experience, Paul Smith’s holiday Merrymaker fragrance will permeate the lobby for the season.
8. Bronson van Wyck at The Vanderbilt, Auberge Resorts Collection
Known as one of the go-to gurus of party planning, Bronson van Wyck brings his timeless and eclectic style to a special installation at Newport, Rhode Island’s The Vanderbilt. Inspired by the property’s rich history and founder’s legacy, van Wyck curated a nautical-themed tree as well as a display of other festive decorations including columns wrapped in Brunschwig & Fils fabric and a fireplace adorned in magnolia garlands and pheasant feathers.
9. Conrad Shawcross at The Connaught
Located on Carlos Place right outside London’s famed hotel The Connaught, the property has teamed up with British artist Conrad Shawcross, who adorned a soaring Christmas tree with 90 bespoke hand-painted lanterns made of aluminum and silver coating. At the top, a dazzling classic star lights up the streets of Mayfair.
10. La Ligne at The Dewberry
In celebration of this year’s holiday season, The Dewberry teamed up with noted womenswear brand La Ligne for a Christmas tree that brings classic charm to the Charleston landmark. Natural elements, including shed branches, woven baskets, and decorative sweetgrass, honor the lush landscape of the area while other festive decorations, like draped garland interwoven with baskets, adorn the hotel’s bar, conjuring the perfect spot to toast to the upcoming new year.
