Taormina ChandeliernWith Italianate influences, the Taormina Chandelier is a handmade wonder. The metal wire from which it is made is hand-formed, and creating delicate leaf shapes from wire made of wrought iron is no small feat. The new brass finish on the gold chandelier gives it warmth, though the composition remains light and airy.
Liquid Gold Console TablenIn the Sasha Bikoff Collection, the Liquid Gold Console Table lives up to its name. The brass from which the console is made is finished in luminous gold and seems to be liquifying as it drips from the matte top. Bikoff lives up to her reputation of designing products that add bling to a space.
Shadows Table LampnThe Shadows Table Lamp that grows into its story as it disappears under and eclipses the white rectangular shade in a matching finial. Nature was the main source for this design.
Briallen White Demi-LunenThe impressively sized brass flower pull on the Briallen White Demi-Lune is a stunning ornamentation. A bright accent on the cerused white oak, the brass floral motif in a brass finish brings the white cabinet a sophisticated feel and illustrates the skill of our artisans who hand-cast the handle in brass.
Queenbee Palm ChandeliernIn the Aviva Stanoff Collection, the Queenbee Palm Chandelier pays homage to the graceful movement of palm leaves blowing in the wind. The leaves, finished in contemporary gold leaf, arc gracefully toward the top of the fixture to form a tear drop-shaped shade. Stanoff says the design was inspired by the places she associates with calm, with resetting and with recharging: the beach, ocean, and tropical places.
Maren Cream Swivel ChairnThe Maren Cream Swivel Chair is a tub-back chair with a chic opening in the back that makes the back panel appear it is floating. The ivory chair is covered in a fabric with a very subtle abstract cheetah-like pattern in neutral tones; and has a gold base and a 360-degree swivel, which makes it perfect for the space where interior conversations and outdoor views can be enjoyed from the same spot.
Grand Lotus White Small ChandeliernThe Grand Lotus White Small Chandelier receives its good looks from a combination of stunning workmanship and a mix of sugar white and contemporary gold leaf finishes. The white chandelier is skillfully fashioned from wrought iron
Bramford Wheat NightstandnThe lovely motif on the drawer panel of the Bramford Wheat Nightstand was inspired by a luxurious handbag spotted by Currey & Companyu2019s director of furniture, Aimee Kurzner. Made of mahogany with a light wheat finish, the pattern on the tan bedside table is made of interwoven taupe and ivory leather,
Evie Shagreen Entry TablenThe Evie Shagreen Entry Table is made of mahogany in a dark walnut finish. The wood-framed top and panels covered in ivory faux shagreen are accented with exquisite brass pulls. The octagonal table has four drawers with ball-bearing slides. This ivory entry table was inspired by vintage shagreen furniture from the 1920s.
Saisei Grande ChandeliernDesigned by Hiroshi Koshitaka, the Saisei Grande Chandelier is made of rattan that flows artfully around a wrought iron frame in a khaki finish, which is tonally in sync with the natural color of the material. Saisei, notes Koshitaka, means renew, restore, revive, regrowth, rebirth, and regeneration, all valuable ideals in a fast-paced world. The otherworldly shape of this hand-woven wonder was inspired by outer spaceu2014galaxies in the universe come to light.
Sergio ChestnCelebrating the art of marquetry, the Sergio Chest is a mix-master when it comes to woodgrains. The species included are oak, ash, elm burl, and mahogany. The diamond pattern on the doors was inspired by a floor that Currey & Companyu2019s director of furniture, Aimee Kurzner, noticed in Las Vegas.
Penelope ChandeliernThe Penelope Chandelier is made of wrought iron in an antique black finish in a traditional tear-drop shape that has defined some of the most popular beaded chandeliers in history. This blue chandelier has an unusual design detail to its credit: the brilliant beads are made of fabric and the gold beads are made of gold nuggets.
Milos Blue Table LampnThe Milos Blue Table Lamp is made by a group of women who live at the border of Burma and Thailand. Made from black terra cotta, this incredible hand-thrown dark blue lamp has a swirled surface that looks like brain coral. The lamp is glazed in a rich deep reactive blue
Macati Pedestal nWrapped in natural rope, the Macati Pedestal is made of wood and topped with a disc of glass. The artistry required to create such a cohesive flow of rope on a piece such as this takes our artisans a great deal of time to master. The rope pedestal has an implied base when the direction of the rope goes from horizontal to vertical.n
Butterfly Ballerina BronzenThe exuberant Butterfly Ballerina Bronze sculpture is made from a lost-wax technique when boiling bronze is poured into a mold covering an original wax sculpture that melts away. Once set, there is a very long process of refining the bronze to give it patina.
