Artful Escapes: Le Cœur du Ferret
In Cap Ferret, the latest private property from Iconic House presents a modern reinterpretation of the classic Arcachon Basin fisherman’s cabin

About an hour from Bordeaux, Cap Ferret is little known to foreigners, yet it serves as a Mecca for France’s creatives, including actress Marion Cotillard and designer Fabrice Juan. Here, Le Cœur du Ferret, the latest private property from Iconic House, presents a modern reinterpretation of the classic Arcachon Basin fisherman’s cabin. The home, which is available for total buyouts, was designed by local architect Frédéric Thet, with interiors by Jaune Architecture and art curation by Joséphine Fossey.
Le Cœur du Ferret offers seven en suite bedrooms; contemporary French and Mexican artwork; a convivial, yellow-tiled courtyard pool; an outdoor sauna; and use of a sporty electric car.
